Technology Leadership Grounded in Aviation Experience

Welka Enterprises is a specialized consultancy built to help aviation organizations plan, secure, modernize, integrate, and scale their technology. The work combines executive-level IT leadership with a genuine understanding of how aviation businesses run.
What We Believe

Effective aviation IT is as much judgment as technology.

Tools matter, but outcomes come from understanding the operation and staying accountable. In practice, that means:

  • Understanding the business
  • Protecting operational continuity
  • Communicating clearly with executives
  • Building practical solutions
  • Taking ownership through execution
  • Managing vendors firmly
  • Balancing urgent needs with long-term strategy
  • Connecting technology decisions to business outcomes
Our Approach

Six principles that guide every engagement.

These aren't slogans—they're the standards we hold ourselves to on real projects, with real operational stakes.

Business First

Technology decisions must support the operating model, customer experience, employees, and long-term goals.

Security by Design

Security should be built into infrastructure, identity, systems, vendor selection, and business processes.

Operationally Practical

Recommendations must work inside real aviation environments—not only in presentations.

Vendor Independent

Technology decisions should be based on business requirements, risk, cost, and value—not a single vendor's catalog.

Clear Accountability

Projects need clear ownership, documented decisions, measurable outcomes, and direct communication.

Built to Scale

Technology should support growth, acquisitions, new locations, new aircraft, and changing business models.

Leadership

Led hands-on, not from a distance.

Taylor Welka founded Welka Enterprises to give aviation organizations the kind of technology leadership usually reserved for much larger companies. With more than 15 years across enterprise IT and aviation operations, Taylor pairs executive-level strategy with the hands-on ability to deliver it.

That experience spans the full stack an aviation business runs on—infrastructure and cloud, Microsoft 365 and identity, cybersecurity, vendor and contract management, and the operational platforms behind scheduling, maintenance, and finance—as well as the technology work behind acquisitions and multi-location growth.

The through-line is practical: understand the operation first, protect what keeps it running, and make technology decisions that hold up well outside the boardroom.
